GAF Timberline shingle roof replacement

Often, our clients have had little to no experience in communicating with insurance adjusters and find the process daunting/confusing. This Willow Springs client called us in to deal with the insurance company, which resulted in a detail-oriented process that assured that their policy/coverage would be fully honored.

VIS worked with a homeowner a few houses down and found out they had recommended us to this new client. Every property has unique challenges, including this one, which had a lightning ground system that had to be carefully removed before we could begin work and then replaced upon completion of the project.

After removing the old roofing system, VIS found that the underlying plywood sheeting was still in good shape, so we began installing the GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. We also used GAF Timbertex hip and ridge shingles for a nice finish. The crew also installed an ice and water dam six feet up from the gutters and three feet in from the valleys. We also installed synthetic underlayment for an added layer of protection. Finally, a new power vent was installed.

Upon completion of the project, the client remarked that this was “absolutely the best experience I have had dealing with contractors: Efficient, meticulous and conscientious.”
